Common questions

FAQs.

Why do tenders ask for both average turnover and net worth?
The two figures test different things — turnover over multiple years demonstrates scale and consistency of operations, while net worth demonstrates solvency and the financial cushion to absorb execution risk on the contract. Tender conditions typically set independent minimum thresholds on both, verified by CA certification rather than the bidder's self-declaration.
Can a newly incorporated bidder with less than 3 years of turnover use this certificate?
Yes — state the actual years of operation and leave the earlier year(s) blank rather than fabricating a figure. Most tender conditions include a specific carve-out or reduced threshold for entities with a shorter operating history; check the specific tender document's eligibility clause for how it treats a shorter track record.
Is the net worth figure here computed the same way as the standalone Net Worth Certificate?
Yes, it's the same underlying computation (total assets minus total liabilities). If the tender wants the full itemised asset-and-liability breakup rather than just the final figure, use CORAA's Net Worth Certificate template to generate that detail and carry the resulting net worth figure into this certificate.
