Common questions

FAQs.

Why keep timesheets in a CA firm?
They show what each engagement really costs, support fee reviews and variations, and show whether the firm has the capacity to take on more work.
What should be recorded as billable?
Time spent on client work you can charge for. Training, admin and unrecovered work is non-billable but still worth recording.
How often should timesheets be filled?
Daily is best; weekly is the minimum. Memory fades quickly.
