UCO Bank has published its concurrent audit notice for the period 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027. The online window was 7 September to 15 September 2026, so it has closed. The points below come from the bank's notice as summarised publicly; read the full PDF on the bank's site before relying on any detail.

Facts checked: 9 October 2026. The summary pages and the notice PDF differ on the opening date, which is itself a reason to read the bank's own document.

What the notice says

Item Position
Audit period 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027
Online window 7 September (10:00) to 15 September 2026 (16:59) per the notice PDF
Branches Listed in Annexure I of the notice
Application mode Online, through the bank's portal

Eligibility points that decide outcomes

  • Cooling period. A firm with no continuous audit for the last three consecutive years in any UCO Bank branch or office is eligible for the Annexure I branches.
  • Existing auditors. A firm already engaged whose branch is in Annexure II (branches not identified for 2026-27) can apply for Annexure I branches, provided it is not under cooling.
  • Conflict of interest. If any partner of a firm is a director on the bank's Board, no partner of that firm can be appointed concurrent auditor.
  • Firm profile. A partnership firm is preferred. A CISA or DISA qualified auditor is favoured because branches are computerised, and a firm near the branch is preferred.

The notice text available to me was incomplete on the full eligibility list, fees and annexure branch lists. Treat those as unverified until you read the PDF.

Stock audit with UCO Bank

The latest stock and receivables auditor notice I could find dates from February 2025, with a panel valid for three years. A new call may not be issued in this cycle. Check the bank's notices page.

How to prepare for the next round

  1. Confirm your firm's RBI Unique Code Number is current.
  2. Keep proof of the ICAI certificate course on concurrent audit of banks for at least one partner.
  3. Record your cooling-period position for every bank you serve.
  4. Set a calendar alert for the bank's notices page. These windows are short.

For the wider picture of how banks run these windows, read the bank concurrent audit empanelment guide and Union Bank of India's 2026-27 round.
