No. A quotation is an offer. A tax invoice, with the Rule 46 particulars, is issued at the time of supply.
Should a quotation show GST?
It helps the customer compare prices if it shows the GST rate and the expected amount, with a note that GST is charged as applicable at invoicing.
How long should a quotation stay valid?
There is no fixed period. Thirty days is common; shorten it when your costs move quickly.
